ABOUT
Krishna Priya Dasi was born in India in 1972, with several physical challenges. Standing less than four feet tall, she has major structural and bone problems. As a child, her physical condition prevented her from getting a traditional academic education, although a love for Art, Poetry, and Spirituality was deeply ingrained in her from the beginning of life. She became an accomplished painter in the Rajasthani style and wrote poetry as means of fulfillment.
But another heavy challange awaited her. In 2005, she was forced to undergo major brain surgery, and nearly died. Somwhow she was spared, saved for some Higher Purpose. While traversing the long road to recovery, she decided to write a book of poetry "Lotus Lyrics", illustrated with simple hand paintings of lotuses. It was very difficult going, as she suffered severe dizziness and troubled eye/hand coordination. Still, she completed the book and published a limited edition as a dedication to all those special sould in the World, who also may be undergoing trials and trubulations of their own.
